hello world, my personal journal

The entire concept of keeping a journal or diary was something I'd toyed with when I was younger, but never really taken seriously.
However, after the faitful trip to Brno earlier this year, I find myself enjoying writing about my life.
I can't guarantee to tell the world about every little thing I do, but it's nice to be able to talk about things, places and people in my life without my work being graded by hypercritical english professors.
You should know, though; this is a personal Journal. Things I talk about shouldn't be taken too seriously (things are accurate, but personal and if I happen to mention that I am, for instance, writing a computer program, don't expect to see it on this WebPage instantly).

My latest LJ entry:

Lazyness or what

Hello again, blog.  Seems odd, addressing a table in a database by name.  At least I assume I'm a table in a database on LJ, for all I know I'm a file of some sort.  Or not even that - perhaps a column in a table in a database.  How demeaning!

anyway the whole point of this entry, aside from briefly updating the world as to the facts that yes I am alive, no I haven't died and yes, I still exist is to point out Alex wallis' lazyness.

Alex wanted TinySpell earlier in the week, which is a free spell-checker you can use anywhere on your computer.  I sent him the URL to it and all was well and good.  But then, the lazy bastard pops back up and wants automatic spelling!

I suppose in retrospect its a fairly useful addition to the program - after all, if there's one place you'll need to hear how something's spelled, its in a list of corrective suggestions to your malformed English.  Still, it's easy enough to do a spell word in JAWS - common practice, really...

Anyway that's neither here nor there.  Completely untested, untried and unproven, you can get the scripts from My Article here.

End of Latest Entry.
