Greg,

Perhaps try replacing "ot_error" with the number 0. this will change the voice JAWS uses to announce the error information but should at least allow you to compile the script.

This is strange... I get an error when trying to do the compile from JAWS 10.0.1154. It tells me that ot_error was not defined. Is there a workaround for this?

I just used this application to listen to an audio book and quite liked it. I have a book port but don't always have it with me like i do my mobile. to be able to just grab it and listen to a book on the go whether on a long car ride, dr's appointment that's gone on too long or whatever it is useful. I have also bought one of those battery powered chargers that is portable so if my phone decides to go flat, I have a way to charge it. I got about 8 hours of continuous listening and I think that's pretty reasonable. I'm addicted to reading and this fulfils my addiction. I would also like to see a feature where you can skip back 10 or 20 sxeconds but oh well. It's much better than trying to do it with the music player where there is no way to set a book mark.

With regards to the pc suite thing, the new version of pc suite won't play nice with me, but the old one used to have sms sync as well, also where you could type it on the pc and read it on the pc, perhaps the new one supports it too but I haven't really had much luck with jaws and that.

Well, I have just started using Jawter, and I find it to be very easy, even fun to use. My only issue with it is the anouncement of the time. That is, it will say that something arrived an hour ago, when I know full well that it just arrived. But that is not a major issue with me, and it is probably just something I am doing wrong, or something that I did wrong while installing it. Otherwise, it works beautifully. Also, a kind of advantage that I have using Jawter is that when I am posting from the web, my keys lag, and when I say lag, I mean maybe one and a half second lag. This can be quite frustrating as I am quite a fast typer, and when I make mistakes, it takes a few seconds to correct my many typing errors . But the second I started using Jawter, I found that there was no lag, and I could type as fast as I could. But above all things, I would like to thank you for creating this. This is the only program of its kind that I have seen. It is programs like this that make me not so hesitant to go on social networking sites, in fear that it will not be accessible to us blind users. Well, then there is the fact that I am usually not a social networking type of person. Now if only someone could make something like this for myspace! Grin. And if you or anyone would like to follow me, my user name is ali8923.

Have a EEE 901 here. I've found that if you're using Jaws and have the laptop key layout set, that you can quite happily use the caps lock key interchangeably with insert for most though not quite all purposes. It certainly works with the Fn combos you described previously.

One more question:
I've tried using MS Outlook 2003 some years ago. Then I've missed a key to go to the next folder containing unread messages, such as ctrl+j in Outlook Express. Do you know any way to do that in MSOE?

Thanks
